Currently Loxford School are running a STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Club after school. It has attracted a lot of interest from students and recently they are taking part in ‘The Big Science Project’ – based on solving water issues. The project should be completed on 8th December, and the school is looking to select one entry to go through to the international competition.
Upcoming challenges include: The powered boat challenge - Building a motor-driven boat to cross the swimming pool & Mousetrap drag racers. If you’re interested in attending, the club meets once a week every Thursday in F11 at 3:30pm after school.
