On Wednesday 11th July 2018, the Computing Department took 30 Year 10 Computer Science students to attend a field trip at the Apple Store (Lakeside). The field trip included a fun project based session, to learn how to code with the latest state of the art devices from Apple. The students took part in challenges to learn how to complete the core fundamentals of coding, along with real-life hands on approaches to problem solving and collaborative working.
The Year 10 Computer Science students had an amazing time and were a credit to Loxford School, and throughout the trip they showed and demonstrated outstanding behaviour, alongside being respectful, polite and humble towards members of the public and staff at the Apple Store.
As teachers we are so proud of our students and thank them for their behaviour and conduct at the Apple Store Lakeside.
