At the end of last term class 9.S went to see Shrek The Musical at the Drury Lane Theatre in London as a reward for working hard and receiving the most positive feedback in Year 9 for the winter term. For many of the students it was their first time experiencing a West End musical and it was well received by all of them.
The students enjoyed the show’s special effects and also the performance of the actors, and not just for their acting ability but their singing as well. The fact that the children got to go to central London seemed to be a big attraction for them with many of them enamoured by the big city. They all appreciated being rewarded for their efforts in school and know that they need to keep it up!
