On the 10th of January we welcomed a delegation of senior educationalists from Tampere, Finland. The aim of the visit to the United Kingdom was to see new schools and how they use online learning to support student achievement. We are extremely proud that Loxford was chosen to be the only school in London that they wanted to visit. The party toured the school, visited classrooms, talked to students and discussed with our teachers how we provide a high quality education.
The afternoon included presentations on video conferencing and how Finnish schools can become our international partners. We are excited that a number of schools want to join with us in collaborative projects such as writing a book. We received excellent feedback and comments on our students, the building and were invited to visit their schools in the Tampere area. Yet again Loxford can be seen as outstanding.
