They learnt many insightful things about the media, such as how they portray controversial topics, how social networking is being used to report stories and how much of an impact the media can make on society. They also got the chance to meet people who have been able to pursue successful media careers, which were able to provide them with key knowledge to help them with their A-Levels.  Many students felt as though the information that they gained from the day’s events could greatly help them in future projects, an area that which many felt could be improved was the amount of activities that were given to them as it wasn’t that engaging at times. On the whole the trip was well received and enjoyed by Year 12.
