Each term the family of students who have made exceptional effort and achievement receive a letter home from the Mrs Ferrandes, Head of Department.

In year eight and nine gifted and talented students are selected to join a dual language class where they learn both French and Spanish.

Students who have made exceptional achievements in their classes take part in special projects with the foreign language assistants during the summer term. Examples of these projects include tapas tasting, cookery, making a magazine and cinema.
