On Wednesday July 4th year 8s took part in a series of workshops designed to give them a real-life insight into the consequences of getting involved in crime and making the wrong life-decisions.
The students took part in several workshops. They discovered what life is like in prison, even visiting a prison cell. They learned about the law around anti-social behaviour. Students learned about online safety and the consequences of cyber-bullying. Other workshops involved gangs and knife crime and First Aid.
The emphasis of the day was on young people being given infor
