Year 8 students recently attended a cress project at Loxford where they took part in various fun experiments. These involved: finding out which is the best shampoo by testing them on fake hair strands. Making healthy smoothies by using various natural fruits and also understanding the fruits’ fat content and calories. Measuring the speed and distance of toy cars by learning about the different types of energy that can be used, and how the aerodynamic designs affect them.
