On Thursday 16th January 2020, the Loxford School Computing Department took 15 Year 10 Computer Science students to attend a field trip at the Apple Store (Lakeside). The field trip included a fun and engaging project-based session, to learn how to code with the latest state of the art devices from Apple. The students took part in challenges to learn how to complete the core fundamentals of coding, along with real-life hands on approaches to problem solving and collaborative working.
The Year 10 Computer Science students had a wonderful time and were an absolute credit to Loxford School, and throughout the trip they showed and demonstrated outstanding behaviour, alongside being respectful, polite and humble towards members of the public and staff at the Apple Store.
As teachers we are so proud of our students and thank them considerably for their behaviour and conduct at the Apple Store Lakeside.
