Loxford in the Guardian

Media Studies students made the front page of the Guardian. The article is a six page feature for the Guardian’s weekend magazine.

The Media Studies department visits the Guardian’s UK headquarters most years, with students producing newspaper pages just like real journalists; Loxford students have gained an excellent reputation for being so well-mannered, enthusiastic and professional over the course of these trips.

Sam Wollaston, the Guardian feature writer, came to Loxford to work with some of our current year 11 Media Studies students on an article exploring how the new digital generation understands and interacts with technology used in earlier generations (technology such as record players and ancient artefacts like A-Zs).
