Welcome to Lox Talks
This is our way of sharing excellent practice across our Trust schools in the forms of videos and pod casts. Our staff from across our schools attend these sessions to share good practice or learn new ways to develop their teaching practice. Please feel free to explore and keep checking on this page for more new Lox Talks coming soon.
This session led by Miss Malik (CTL Computing) discusses how differentiation can be used effectively to produce positive outcomes for students. Teachers share good practice as to how they target low, mid and high attainers.
Use of voice in the classroom
This Talk was conducted with our NQT’s in a session, which covered the importance of using your voice effectively in the classroom. A range of techniques are demonstrated by Ms Roberts (Deputy Headteacher) alongside our NQTs who test these out. Learn ways to also protect your voice throughout the academic year.
Alternative forms of feedback
This session was led by Miss Hirst (Lead Practioner for Teaching and Learning) looking at tips and tricks on making feedback motivating and meaningful and to create a strategy to make more of an impact in lessons for students.
