On Tuesday 7th May, 11 year 7 students participated in a free canoeing session at Fairlop Waters, Ilford. This was an opportunity to experience a new activity as a reward due to their commitment to attending a extra-curricular clubs and hard work within lesson time. On this 6 session course students developed their technique and fitness on indoor canoeing machines.
Their behaviour and effort was fantastic and the students had an enjoyable afternoon, despite spending a lot of time in the lake!
The PE department would like to say well done to all those students involved, British Canoeing, Vision Sport and Health Team for their support.”
