Loxford Loves Reading! Redbridge Book Awards

Every year our wonderful librarians organise our participation in Redbridge Book Awards. This year marks the cermony's twentieth anniversary and Loxford School has had the pleasure of partaking since its inception. 

Students have taken part in a reading club throughout the year where they then vote for their favourite books. The end of the reading club is celebrated with a ceremony at Redbridge Town Hall where students get to meet the authors and have an afternoon immersed in all things reading!

This year, students were treated to an inspirational speech by Dr Stuart Lawrence, and one of our primary school students even joined the writers' panel!
