Future Focus & Fun

It’s that time of year again, when the Youth Service runs 3 weeks of activities and skills building sessions for young people in Year 11 & 13.

This is the third year of running the programme at Hainault Youth Centre and sessions and workshops are so popular, that we have had to add extras!

Are you working with young people aged 16 to 18, who have just finished exams or college and are work or training?  If so, we can help them gain skills they need to move on to their next destination.

The future focus & fun programme will offer support & help thier future plans & life skills, our dedicated team of staff who will be there to help maximize their potential and prepare them for the future.

The programme is over 3 weeks which runs 4 days a week and will be delivered at Hainault Youth Centre. 

During the programme you will get:

  • A chance to gain 1 day emergency first aid certificate that you can put on your CV. – this is now full.
  • 1-2-1 Meeting with Connexions careers service to help with careers guidance and support with CV writing & interview skills
  • Meetings & group activities with youth workers
  • Workshops on team work, leadership, money management
  • Food & hygiene level 2 certificate
  • Sessions that will help improve your self-esteem, motivation and confidence to make decisions.
  • Free lunch for all provided as part of the young people led cooking sessions.
  • Take part in fun activities and
