Alliance Partners

In addition to our partner schools within the Loxford School Trust, we are delighted to welcome the following schools to The Loxford School Trust Teaching School Alliance:

Mossford Green Primary School

Mossford Green is a 2 form entry Primary school with its own nursery. The Headteacher, Mrs Martin, is enjoying her third year at the school and the school is in a good position to move to Outstanding, following on the recent Good Ofsted report and strong results for the past few years.

Mossford have a creative curriculum through which they teach English, history, geography and science. Teachers are part of working parties for Computing, Assessment without Levels, New arrivals and the headteacher and deputy are currently leading a ‘Closing the Gap’ working party in Redbridge – all through the RNLC. Mossford Green is also an active member of the Gants Hill Teaching Alliance and the Enthusing Leaders Alliance. Through these alliances they have a Yr1 and Yr3 working party who meet up at different schools to explore issues such as assessment, transition etc. They are also helping to lead on Reciprocal Reading.

The school is very diverse with no ethnic group accounting for more than 20%. They also have a similar percentage of Pupil Premium children, although this fluctuates by year group i.e 50% in year 6 to less than 10% in Reception.
