Welcome to the Sixth Form at Loxford
Students currently studying in year 11 at Loxford School do not need to complete an application form for the Sixth Form.
During the Spring Term, after Internal Assessment results have been received and following Year 11 parents evening, all year 11 students will be interviewed regarding the subjects they would like to study in the Sixth Form. During this interview, we will also discuss with you your future aspirations and give you advice on what University courses you should be aiming for.
All course offers made to students wanting to continue to Loxford Sixth Form are conditional upon meeting the ‘General Entry Requirements’. Please be aware that some subjects carry a specific entry requirement.
Sixth Form Entry Requirements 2024
Sixth Form Entry Requirements following completion of your GCSE exams, all students will be invited to attend Sixth Form taster days, during which you can experience your preferred subjects and get a sense of what studying in the Sixth Form will be like.
All final course choices are confirmed in an interview with a member of Loxford School Sixth Form team, on GCSE results day.
