Borough Athletics Competition.

On Wednesday 10th June and Wednesday 17th June, Loxford students travelled to Ashton Playing Fields Stadium to compete in the Borough Athletics Competition.

Students took part in a wide range of events, including the 100m, 200m, 300m, 800m, 4x100m relay, shot put, high jump, long jump, and triple jump.

Throughout the competition, our students were outstanding, demonstrating excellent resilience, determination, and character. They gave maximum effort in every race, throw, and jump, representing the school with pride and enthusiasm.

There were some excellent individual performances from our Year 9 boys. Daniel secured 3rd place in High Jump, Gabriel achieved 1st place in Long Jump and 3rd place in the 300m, and Nehemiya earned 2nd place in Triple Jump.

These impressive performances contributed to the Year 9 boys finishing 5th overall in the borough, a fantastic achievement against strong competition from schools across Redbridge.

The PE Department would like to congratulate all students who competed in the event for their commitment, effort, and positive attitude. We would also like to thank all members of staff who contributed to the smooth running of the days and supported our students throughout the competition.
