Earth Day - Green Peace workshopBack
Year 12 and 13 pupils engaged in a fun, interactive live global lesson hosted by Green Peace (via Google for Education) to promote the aims of Earth Day. Pupils explored ways in which they could engage at a deeper and practical level on issues of climate change. The lesson allowed pupils from many countries to participate at the same time. The Global tutors gave Loxford School and two of its pupils a shout-out, which would have been heard from Taiwan to New York!
This global lesson also provided a meaningful opportunity for pupils to extend their work on climate change which they had been promoting since December 2021. United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Pupils and staff look forward to explore ways on how they can change their lives to help preserve the planet for future generations.
