English in the Art Room

Year 11 broke the "mind-forg'd manacles" from their English classroom and broke out into some cross-curricular learning. As part of their 'Power and Conflict Poetry Anthology' studies, Year 11 took to the art department to create their own mono-prints of the imagery of WIlliam Blake's 'London'. Mono-printing was the method Blake himself used to illustrate his poetry and the Year 11s got the hand of it wonderfully!
