Pilot Visit to Loxford School

On Monday 27^th March as part of the school's 'Dare to Dream' Careers Programme,  a pilot from Stapleford Flight Centre met with a group of students across Years 7-13 to discuss what it is like being a commercial airline pilot. 

There were lots of interesting questions asked as part of the workshop and  students had the chance to speak directly to him and his colleague from Stapleford Flight School about  the different ways of becoming a pilot and the training requirements. These conversations gave students valuable insight into the world of work and helped them begin thinking more confidently about their future ambitions and dreams, especially out Year 13 students who attended who are currently applying to flight schools themselves.
