The Computing Department at Loxford School are proud to announce that the recent Girls in Computing Webinar, which took place on Friday 12th June 2026, was an inspiring and uplifting experience for our students.
The session offered a valuable introduction to the world of Computing, helping the girls understand how technology shapes modern life and the exciting career paths available in the digital sector.
They explored real‑world applications of Computing, gained insight into emerging technologies (AI), and developed greater confidence in their own digital abilities. Many students finished the webinar feeling motivated, empowered, and eager to continue their journey in Computing.
Our department are delighted to share that the students from Loxford School behaved exceptionally throughout the event. Their maturity, enthusiasm, and respectful engagement reflected the very best of our students and contributed to a positive learning atmosphere.
