Celebrating Excellence in Year 8
BackYear 8 students have had plenty to be proud of this half term. Departments across the school have been recognising their top students for outstanding achievement, positive behaviour and valuable contributions in lessons.
In our most recent assembly, Mr Minikin, Achievement Team Leader for Year 8, presented certificates to the students nominated by their subject teachers. These presentations will continue in assemblies throughout the year, so every student has the chance to be recognised.
Mr Minikin reminded the year group that positive SIMS points and recognition like this are at the heart of how we celebrate the good things happening at Loxford every day. Students who consistently earn recognition will be rewarded with trips and other exciting opportunities later in the year.
Congratulations to all our certificate winners. Keep up the fantastic work, Year 8!
