Shia Islam workshop with year 11
BackYear 11 Shia Islam Workshop
Our Year 11 students recently took part in an engaging and informative workshop on Shia Islam. During the session, students learned about the key beliefs, practices, and historical foundations of Shia Islam, with a particular focus on themes such as leadership, community, and religious identity. The workshop also explored important events and figures in Shia history, helping students develop a deeper appreciation of the diversity within the wider Muslim tradition.
Interactive discussions, Q&A opportunities, and reflective activities encouraged students to broaden their perspectives and think critically about faith, culture, and the role of religion in shaping societies.
This was a valuable experience that supported both our Religious Education curriculum and the school’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and mutual respect.
